Collecting figurines is a hobby enjoyed by people of all ages. One especially popular type of figurine among collectors are angel figurines. These are among the most commonly produced figurines, making them easy to find. Collecting angel figurines can be a bit addictive – just any collector, many of whom have more than 100 different figurines in their collection!

Angel figurines can be found in many different styles, sizes and types. Small figurines are usually less expensive, but it is fun to collect any size of angel figurines. Children especially enjoy collecting angel figurines, since it is easy to find smaller and less expensive figurines. These figurines also make great birthday, holiday and graduation gifts.

Angels represent love, joy and of course, heaven to many people. Guardian angels keep you from harm; and angel figurines can give you a sense of security, being symbols of protection. Always go for angel figurines which give you a good feeling. Most collectors focus on the face when choosing angel figurines – a face which is poorly painted can ruin the whole figurine.

A lot of companies make angel figurines in many designs, poses and even activities; you can find angel figurines who are singing, praying, skiing and almost any other activity you can think of. You can find angels with wings, halos and other features.

Those who collect angel figurines have to decide where to display them. Many collectors like to proudly display them on a prominent shelf or a glass case. Having them in an enclosed case will keep them free of dust. If you have a larger collection, however, you might instead choose to place them in various locations around your home. Angels look good in any room of your home, of course – so use your imagination and place them where they look their best.

There are those true "angel-maniacs"; those collectors who simply cannot get enough angel figurines.  Since angels are symbols of protection and good will, many collectors like to have more than a few. When you begin collecting angel figurines, it can be hard to stop – you'll start noticing angel figurines everywhere!
